I was looking to get into mechanical keyboard trend and bought the Newmen GM840 as my first mechanical keyboard thanks to the discount.-The gm840 has a bit weight to it making it sturdy and less hollow. It also looks like a vintage keyboard with the colour scheme of the keycaps which i like. No volume knob which is fine for me.-It has all relevant keys like function and arrow keys, though losing the numpad is a non issue for me.-Typing is smooth, satisfying and quiet with the gateron g pro red switches and also thanks to the foam used in the keyboard.-It is hot swappable so I can change the switches with epomaker sea salt silent or redgragon a120 rose silent switch.-The rgb lightning is also great with a decent selection to choose from.-Easy to use with wired, wireless and receiver connection. I just followed the direction and plugged in the USB receiver and it worked from the get go. Didn't even need to use the software.All in all a great mechanical keyboard for me or for a beginner and would recommend to buy.
