There is much to like about this keyboard drawer.Pros:- The build quality is top notch.- All steel construction.- Made in the USA- Lifetime warranty- Easy installation. Mounted to the underside of my trusty old office supply store particle board desk.- Smooth gliding on the ball bearings.- The shipping from the manufacturer was incredibly fast considering that it was not eligible for Prime shipping. I ordered this drawer (without Prime shipping) and a new keyboard (with 2-day Prime shipping) at the same time and the drawer arrived today, whereas the new keyboard isn't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow. But there are a couple of things that I dislike. Really only one that I have a serious issue with.Cons:- No installation instructions. It was very simple to install and instructions aren't really needed, but I would have REALLY likes an installation template, which could easily be printed on the box. It would have made pre-drilling the screw holes in my desk much easier. Not really a big deal. I'd take half of a star off for that if I could, but I guess I have to round up to one star. Such a simple inclusion for a drawer that can't have the brackets mounted in place with them attached to the drawer seems like a no-brainer, especially for a company that makes so many professional office desk products.- Not height adjustable. This is kind of a biggie. My particular combination of desk/chair/thick thighs means that this drawer smacks me in the knees when I roll my chair under it if I am not careful to lower my knees first. My old plastic Fellowes keyboard drawer that I replaced (as well as the one before it, which I can't remember the brand, but was also a plastic one from an office or electronics store) had a few different height settings on the brackets and without that on this new drawer, I have to leave it mounted a good 1.5" lower that the old drawer, which means less leg room and my chair won't adjust any lower. Minus one star.- No lock our position/detent. There is a "bump" that will hold the drawer closed so it doesn't easily open if my leg brushes it, which is good, but there is no counterpart to keep it stuck or locked in the open position. Much cheaper and lower quality plastic import drawers have this feature as well, including the aforementioned Fellowes drawer. Not a big deal, I'd let this slide without taking away any starts, but it's a little annoying.I'm keeping this drawer as I appreciate the build quality and the sturdiness, but I am disappointed that it hangs so low and can't be adjusted in that regard.
