For starters, this is NOT a full size keyboard, it is designed to be a "mini/compact/travel/etc" keyboard/mouse set. It is also NOT a gaming keyboard. You can clearly see in the pictures of the product, what you are getting, so complaining about the layout, is your own fault, you knew this information before purchasing.I own 2 of these sets. 1 set I carry in my tech kit, the compact size slides easily into one of the pockets in my tech bag. The other set I primarily use for a HTPC (Home Theater PC) setup with a mini PC, when not in use it slides easily under my TV. I have used both sets quite a bit without any problems. There is rubber pads on the bottom of the keyboard to help prevent slippage while typing, but I've never had an issue with it sliding while typing. The mouse is optical so if you use it on a reflective surface you will have issues, just like with any other optical mouse. If the mouse cursor moves to quickly, you can adjust the cursor speed in the mouse settings of your operating system. This product meets all my expectations for the purposes that I use it for, I would buy this again if needed and would recommend this product to a colleague.
