With QMK and VIA Support Keychron K10 Pro allows anyone to remap any key, and create macro commands, shortcuts, or combination keys through VIA. Simply connect the K10 Pro to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux). Note User can remap a key on wired mode only. Once it's done, the keymap will work on both wireless and wired modes.
Supports Wireless and Wired Mode You can connect the K10 Pro with up to 3 devices wirelessly via its stable Broadcom Bluetooth 5.1 for seamless multitasking across your laptop, phone, and tablet. The south-facing White backlight is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle and it comes with double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel and excellent oil resistance.
I type a lot, so much so that I wear out a regular domed keyboard in about six months. I loved the mechanical KBs of the days of yore, and having options today are mind boggling.Being able to move / replace switches appealed to me, as well as being able to adjust the feel by selecting a different switch type. Keycaps are PBT and don't shine though, which is a trade off compared to the ABS keys of the K 10 (I had it also but wanted the 10 pro shortly after), but I do like the feel and they are holding up well. The lighting does help at night but not like the K10 with ABS (I may swap out the caps at some point).One thing comparing this to box store "gamer" mechanical keyboards is something I don't quite understand. The keys on the box store "gamer" keyboards stand very high with no recess around the base of the cap, which result in my shit cuffs snagging and ripping caps off the switches (never understood this, does it help with keeping chip crumbs out?). Not the case with the K10 / pro, the keys are properly inset into the bezel, thus ensuring the cuff of my shirt doesn't snag the key and tear it off (just like it should).The feel and throw is very nice compared to domed keyboards (got brown switches), as is a satisfying sound when pressing a key. The keyboard is highly customizable, looking forward to tuning it at some point in the future.Wireless with three devices is very nice. I'll note to those who are complaining about connectivity issues, check your 2.4GHz devices and if there's too much interference, then there is going to be issues (not really a fault of the keyboard). Hint: Switch devices to 5GHz where possible to lighten up the 2.4 GHz burden and interference.Now the reason from changing from the K10 to the K10 pro was the programmable keys with VIA... I've assigned macros to the four keys above the numpad that work brilliantly. Plus being able to remap ANY keys / assign a macro is a huge bonus.Overall, very happy. I have had to adjust to using a proper keyboard again, but it's quite refreshing.
